I was dealing with a diagnosis of gluteal tendinopathy after an MRI scan, even while attending exercise classes.
It got me really down, and I began to wonder if this would ever go away. Walking became a challenge and I felt so fed up.
Then, I came across the Joint Pain Program, I think it was on Facebook. My only doubt was whether I would be accepted into the program.
But I was, and what I learnt was a game-changer - exercise and wellbeing are key to managing pain, it's not necessarily going to go away.
Putting what I learnt into action felt great. I've been to the gym a couple of times and I'm planning to try Zeb Aqua on Monday.
If I hadn’t taken action, I would've just plodded on, but I've always been someone who stays active.
Now, life is fine. I've gained gym experience, and I've even found a new gym buddy, Gill, who I met in the Programme.
To anyone thinking about doing this program, I'd say it's all positive about looking after your wellbeing.
And, I have to add, the coach Mihai was very enthusiastic, which motivated me.
